Rick Caruso Jumps On John Kasich's Bandwagon

As Donald Trump continues to dominate the airwaves and is now calling for Ohio Gov. John Kasich to drop out of the Republican presidential race, Kasich hopes to steal some of his thunder with the help of Caruso Affiliated CEO Rick Caruso.

Calling Trump a bad candidate, Caruso signed on at the end of last week to co-chair Kasich's California campaign, which is becoming pivotal for the race.

Caruso says Kasich is the only Republican presidential hopeful polling well enough to beat Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in November, according to the LA Daily News.

Caruso, the developer behind The Grove and Glendale's The Americana at Brand, sees Kasich faring well in California.

California Republicans are scheduled to vote on June 7. [LADN]
