It’s been an exciting year for Majestic Realty, where Reon Roski manages day-to-day operations for the firm. Its national industrial portfolio is 97% leased, rents are going up, and the firm moving direct on plenty of spec, including a 1M SF project in Dallas, a 2M SF project in Bethlehem, PA, and 500k SF in Denver. It’s also signed 3.5M SF of deals with Walmart in LA, Atlanta and Bethlehem, and is growing its entertainment real estate, including the Fort Worth Stockyards and Silverton Casino in Vegas, where it’s going to market with 400 timeshares. Reon started on the legal side after a judge she worked for told her she’d be good in real estate law; after stints at Allen Matkins and Glaser Weil, she transitioned into Majestic Realty, where father Edward Roski is chair and president. Real estate is a wonderful industry for women, she says, as it allows for a great balance between work and family (she’s mom to triplet sons and a daughter, whom she loves taking on adventures around the world—two recent stops were France and Uganda).
