We call him Super-Larz, but you may know the man in the middle as Jonathan Larsen, Westside and downtown guru for Avison Young. We joined him Saturday night at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas with his wife, Barbara, their friend John Aiassa (president of S.F.-based Teamwrkx Construction and known as “Johnny A” to save time checking the spelling) and Johnny’s daughter Lexi, who today joins Avison Young LA after four years with tech startups in NY.

The USC alum will have some pretty good mentors, as Super-Larz was just named a Broker of the Year by the LA Business Journal for his 215k SF lease at US Bank Tower to Lewis Brisbois law firm (which Larz learned about while cruising the Caribbean last month with Barb), and her own dad, whose fast-growing firm is, conveniently, in the process of setting up an LA office. Key to any brokerage team, Lexi’s addition will enhance the office’s sports prowess; she played volleyball at USC and colleague Chandler Larsen (yep, Larz’s son) played football there.
