LA Olympic Committee Lays Out Plans In Bid Book

LA has revealed its new Olympics logo should the city be awarded the 2024 Summer Olympics and just released its bid book detailing its plans.

Plans include having the Olympic athletes bunk at UCLA in existing student housing. Events such as water polo will take place at the LA Tennis Center while UCLA's Drake Stadium would be a training facility for the athletes, according to Curbed.

The new, official slogan of the LA 2024 Olympics is "Follow the Sun." The LA 2024 committee recently chose Banc of California as its official bank.

The International Olympic Committee is scheduled to announce on Sept. 17 which city (LA, Paris, Budapest or Rome) will host the 2024 Olympics. [Curbed]
