Cassidy Turley Goes Boom in LA

Cassidy Turley SoCal regional managing principal Jonathan Larsen says since its LA regional HQ opened nine months ago, it has quadrupled in size, with growth expected to continue. In fact, a lease has been signed at City National Plaza for half the 44thfloor, with expansion coming in other LA submarkets and Orange County. Jonathan tells us there was strong demand in Q4, close to 650k SF of net absorption in LA County. Also, a big push happened in the local capital markets, with rarin-to-go money for stronger submarkets. Jonathan sees a lot of value-add property potential, as well as properties scooped up by stronger financial owners. And more developers are getting bullish about buying land and building new product.
