Big Week For The Bloc

It's opening week for downtown LA's open-air mall known as The Bloc.

Home to a revamped Macy's Plaza, the mall is scheduled to open on Thursday. The Bloc has undergone a $160M transformation, including a new outdoor courtyard.

While Macy's and the Sheraton Grand LA are now open, not all the retailers will open on Thursday, according to Curbed.

The Alamo Drafthouse cinema is not scheduled to open until later this year. This week's festivities kick off The Bloc's Summer Series. [Curbed]
