Damon Juha, Bruce Smiley, and Glenn Sherman are partners in the real estate department of Freeman, Freeman & Smiley LLP, a mid-sized firm with offices in Century City and Irvine. Bruce and Glenn are brothers-in-law and Bruce is Damon's father-in-law. Damon tells us, "Basically our firm is a model for how nepotism can actually work: It’s like the Mexican mafia, once you are in, you are in and can’t leave, which has made the firm stable and enabled us to have long-term clients like Unilever, Callaway Golf and Traveler’s Insurance."
