All In the Family

We asked for pics of families who work together in the commercial real estate biz, and you responded. Damon Juha, Bruce Smiley, and Glenn Sherman are partners in the real estate department of Freeman, Freeman & Smiley LLP, a mid-sized firm with offices in Century City and Irvine. Bruce and Glenn are brothers-in-law and Bruce is Damon's father-in-law. Damon tells us, "Basically our firm is a model for how nepotism can actually work: It’s like the Mexican mafia, once you are in, you are in and can’t leave, which has made the firm stable and enabled us to have long-term clients like Unilever, Callaway Golf and Traveler’s Insurance."
