Heading towards the building you own one day, you turn a corner only to see a piercing white light coming towards you. You’re frozen to the spot, unable to move, when all of a sudden you find yourself on an alien spacecraft zooming away from Earth.

The situation should be frightening, and yet you feel a calming presence envelope you. You can’t see the otherworldly lifeforms which are transporting you across the galaxy, but can sense them, and you know that they are benevolent and wise.

After just a few minutes, you arrive on their world, which turns out to be a utopia, where nationalism, war and conflict have been ended, and the inhabitants live in perfect harmony. And the knowledge of how to turn our world into such a place suddenly floods your mind.

The next thing you know, you are back in front of your building. You immediately call your lawyer, sell the building the next day, and use the proceeds to start a non-profit organisation that will form the basis of your quest to bring about world peace.

All in all, not what you were expecting when you got up that morning.
