Pier 1 Imports has reopened its Humble store that was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The store officially reopened Feb. 19. To get things going again, Pier 1 will be hosting a grand reopening event Feb. 24 with an all-day Sip & Shop, 15% off merchandise and free Pier 1 Hearts Humble T-shirts, while they last.

Deerbrook Marketplace, the retail center where Pier 1 operates, was heavily impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Nearby retailers like Kohl's, Main Event, Target, Ulta, PetSmart, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival and Bed, Bath & Beyond also closed in the wake of the storm. In total, 64 businesses and hundreds of homes in Humble were impacted by the storm. About 40 of the stores have reopened, with a few others taking the opportunity to update their locations.
