Transwestern Names Former Hines Exec As President Of Investment Group

Transwestern appointed Charles Hazen president of Transwestern Investment Group. Hazen has spent the majority of his 32-year career at Hines, where he served in a number of executive positions, including senior managing director and CEO of its core fund/REIT division. He was a member of the Hines executive committee and managed the acquisition or development of approximately $12B of office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties worldwide. Hazen was involved in raising more than $6.2B over a 15-year period.

For the past four years, Hazen has led Stanmore Partners. Stanmore has several projects in development, and Hazen will assume the role of chairman and continue to be involved in those projects.
