Immerse Yourself in the Summer of Soto

Mercantil Commercebank—which recently opened its fourth Houston banking center in The Woodlands—has partnered with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston to present “Soto: The Houston Penetrable.” Interaction with the 2,600 SF installation, currently on display, makes the work complete, as it’s intended to be touched and waded through. Mercantil Commercebank is encouraging community members to join the celebration of the final and most ambitious work of iconic Venezuelan artist Jesús Rafael Soto through a social media campaign. To enter the bank’s summer contest, individuals must share photos of their experience with the installation on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook. By using #SotoSummer and tagging @MercantilCB in the message, they’ll be entered to win a private tour for six of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and a $300 prepaid card. Learn more about the contest here, and for more on our sponsor, click here.
