HOK Donates Services to Preschool

Several members of HOK’s local office (including managing principal Jay Tatum) recently donated their time to Los Niños Early Childhood Montessori Program, painting colorful wall murals. Los Niños recently relocated to a new space in the Community Family Centers’ main building, and the murals were the last step of HOK’s pro bono extensive 7k SF renovation. The preschool now has a private entrance with a drive-thru, dedicated parking area, four classrooms, a work area for instructors, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room and a fenced in playground. The space will have its grand opening next Tuesday. The project was funded by a grant from the Brown Foundation.
