Asset Plus' Volunteer Day

Last Friday, 70 Asset Plus employees spent more than 450 combined man hours upgrading a 75-year-old house for formerly imprisoned men that will help them successfully re-enter society. The volunteers covered the original wood floors, de-glossed all painted trim, painted the entire home inside and out, revamped the landscaping, painted the fence, and assembled/arranged furniture donated by Asset Plus and University Furnishings. The home will provide a safe place for the men to live, learn and grow through religious guidance, work, education and mentoring. Sherwin Williams donated all paint and many other supplies, and HD Supply also donated supplies.
