WeWork will make its long-awaited debut in Houston in Downtown before the end of the year, according to the Houston Business Journal. WeWork will occupy space in 708 Main once the renovation underway by Lionstone Investments and Midway Cos. is completed.

Colvill Office Properties is leasing 708 Main, and sources close to WeWork told the Houston Business Journal that JLL is repping WeWork. A rep from Colvill said she could not confirm the story. JLL could not be reached for comment.

Built in 1908, and expanded in 1922, 708 Main is roughly 90k SF with 31k SF of available office space. A WeWork spokesperson said the company is "always looking for new communities" but had nothing to announce at this time.

This is a developing story.
