Targa Signs Largest Downtown Lease In Months

Targa Resources, a leading provider in midstream services, signed a long-term 128K SF lease at 811 Louisiana in Houston's Central Business District. Cushman & Wakefield's Tim Relyea, Chad Beck, David Guion and Morgan Relyea repped Targa. Colvill's Chip Colvill, Paula Burns and Damon Thames repped the building's ownership.

"The announcement of this lease further validates the strong response ownership has received from the real estate community through the renovations and amenity enhancements to the property,” Colvill said.

Though still early in the year, signs point to a recovery for Downtown office leasing. Renewed optimism in the energy market has some operations finally coming off the sidelines. Last month, Indigo Resources and M5 Midstream announced a 67K SF expansion. WeWork also announced plans to open its first Houston location this year Downtown.
