Twelve seconds after the first charge was triggered, Timberloch Tower was a pile of rubble. Early Sunday morning, demolition crews imploded the 11-story office building in The Woodlands. Officials said it was more cost-efficient to tear down the 19-year-old building than continue maintaining the vacant structure. Now that the building is gone officials have the flexibility to build something more suitable, though no plans have been announced. In the interim, the space will be converted back to a wooded area.
