Generation Park Announces First Multi-Tenant Building

A vast new development is in the works for Generation Park. McCord Development plans to build Redemption Square, including a Courtyard Marriott hotel with 147 rooms, 1.5M SF of Class-A office space, 800 residential units and 275k SF of retail, all spread over 21 acres of parkland, according to the Houston Business Journal.

The first office building, Redemption Square One, is the first multi-tenant Class-A commercial space the West Lake region has seen in over a decade. It’s expected to deliver by Q1 2017 and is now leasing.

The developer has plans to expand on the project in the future with a 650-room extended-stay hotel, fitness centers, and a 4,000-seat music and entertainment venue. [HBJ]
