For the fourth year in a row, CREW partnered up with students and staff from Barbara Jordan High School for Careers for a hands-on real estate development exercise. This year, the girls tackled Midway’s Hotel Alessandra, coming up with their own mixed-use site designs and discussing every step of the development process with CREW pros. Over 40 CREW members volunteered, and Rosemont’s Michele Ellis-Felder, Arch-Con’s Geri Pacheco, Parkway’s McKenzie Followwill and Midway’s Shon Link judged the students’ entries and selected a winning project. The members also shared personal stories about their career paths, and discussed career options in the real estate industry with the girls.
