Tucker Knight Bringing Big Changes to Berkadia

Berkadia Houston is growing and revamping with help from two major new mortgage banking hires: senior managing director Tucker Knight and managing director Corby Chaffin. (They’re pictured here with most of the Berkadia Houston team.) Tucker, Corby, David Lee and Baylea Tribble came to Berkadia in May after many years at HFF and hit the ground running, almost immediately arranging financing for The Dobie, UT’s iconic residential tower. In fact, the team closed six deals in its first 60 days, and has 25 more working now. Tucker, who was one of HFF's top producers company-wide for the last several years, says his priority will be expanding Berkadia past its multifamily focus, really pushing office, industrial and retail investment sales and debt financing. (It reminds him of his early days at HFF; he was part of that firm’s same product line expansion 15 years ago.)
