Majestic Plans Enormous Warehouse Development

Majestic Realty Co plans to break ground this fall on Colorado's largest-ever single-phase industrial development, which will total 834k SF in three buildings at the Majestic Commercenter near Aurora (as part of the entitlement, the site will be annexed to that city). When the new buildings are finished next summer, the business park will total nearly 4.2M SF in 17 buildings; eventually, there may be as much as 7M SF there.

In April, Majestic inked a lease for its last available building in the Commercenter, a 452k SF property occupied by Amazon. After that lease, SoCal-based Majestic looked to build another large space, the Denver Business Journal reports. One of the three buildings, which will measure 523k SF, will be the largest spec warehouse building ever built in the metro area, bigger even than Majestic's previous largest spec warehouse, a 500k SF property completed in 2014.
