Hyde Development and Mortenson have broken ground on the first phase of 76 Commerce Center, a 1.8M SF industrial park in Brighton.

The 76 Commerce Center development will bring modern industrial space to Adams County and the Interstate 76 corridor. The first phase is a 266,240 SF speculative building designed by Ware Malcomb and listed by Newmark Knight Frank.

The 122-acre site in Bromley Industrial Park is the largest speculative project to emerge in the corridor and is one of the most significant industrial land sales in the Denver area in the last decade. The development is a joint venture between Hyde Development and Mortenson, which is one of Colorado’s leading builders.

“The 76 Commerce Center has been getting great feedback from the market,” Hyde Development co-founder Paul Hyde said. “We are excited to break ground on the first building in the park and raise the bar on industrial space offered in the greater Denver market.”

The 76 Commerce Center will include a variety of building types from bulk warehouses to office/warehouses and light manufacturing. It will have clear heights of 32 to 36 feet, significant auto and trailer parking and direct access to I-76. In an enterprise zone, 76 Commerce Center offers quick permitting with PUD zoning in place.

“We’re thrilled to see development take off on the I-76 corridor,” Brighton Mayor Ken Kreutzer said. “This state-of-the-art industrial park presents the opportunity for more jobs in our community and adds great value to the city’s economy.”
