Mark Cuban Looking To Downtown Dallas For New Mavs Practice HQ

Looks like the Dallas Mavericks are using the Cowboys as inspiration for their latest real estate endeavor. Sources close to Mark Cuban are suggesting the billionaire owner is looking to build a new practice facility HQ in either Deep Ellum or Victory Park. Cuban is looking in areas that are urban to motivate development in up-and-coming neighborhoods, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

The Dallas Cowboys are constructing The Star, a $350M, 91-acre mixed-use development, which has been very profitable. Much like The Star, the Mavs' hope the new space will generate more excitement from fans, aid in player recruitment and generate more revenue. [DBJ]
