Signet Jewelers To Build New Campus At Cypress Waters

Signet Jewelers—owners of Zales, Kay Jewelers and Jared—plans to develop a new Dallas campus at Cypress Waters, a 1,000-acre master planned community along I-635. The facilities will be comprised of a 255k SF office building and a 31k SF manufacturing facility that will sit lakeside and connect to a hike-and-bike trail.

The company has been on the hunt for a new property to house its 1,100 employees since February 2014 when it acquired Zale Corp for $1.4B.

The new building will be fully occupied by Signet team members, and will allow for an expansion of personnel. Up to 150 workers will be placed in the new manufacturing building, where they will create diamond bracelets, jeweled rings and other intricate pieces.

The company will move into the new digs by the end of 2017.
