Construction on Fannie Mae’s new office tower in Granite Park will begin soon and plans are underway to add two more towers to the complex.

Fannie Mae announced in January it would consolidate its three locations in North Texas into a new 10-story, 330k SF building off the Dallas Tollway and State Highway 121. The new building—the sixth for Granite Park—will open in October 2017.

Two more high-rises are planned for the business park, including a 20-story tower that will face Highway 121, according to the Dallas Morning News. A 29k SF shopping center is also planned. The just-completed Granite Park V tower is 30% leased.

The North Dallas community, known as the Platinum Corridor, is expected to see nearly 20,000 new jobs as corporations are flocking to the area. [DMN]
