Dallas Snags Corporate Relocation From Frisco

Derbysoft Inc.'s New Headquarters At 14800 Landmark Blvd.

DerbySoft Inc. will be moving its headquarters closer to city center with a 7K SF lease at 14800 Landmark Blvd. in Dallas.

The hospitality software company was in Frisco and has moved into Dallas, while remaining in the white-hot Far North Dallas submarket.

JLL Managing Director Steve Thelen negotiated the lease for DerbySoft and said the move was optimal for the company’s strategic goals and its desire to be near the amenities that keep employees happy.

“Their new corporate office provides flexibility for strategic growth, in addition to abundant amenities and easy accessibility for their established employees in DFW,” Thelen said in a statement.

Q3 data office market data from CBRE Research shows the Far North Dallas is the office market of choice for many companies. Vacancy in Far North Dallas is at 16.2% and year-to-date absorption is at 779K SF. Other submarkets have registered lower vacancy numbers, but very few of them can compete with the sheer volume of office space delivered and absorbed in Far North Dallas.
