Brokers are whispering that Toyota Motor Co's new North American HQ may double its 1M SF facility to 2M SF, according to the Dallas Business Journal. On a 100-acre site in Plano, Toyota is still in the design process, which means the changes could be made on paper before formal construction starts any day now. The site just east of Legacy at SH 121 will feature a 1M SF campus, slated for a late 2016 or early 2017 completion. Toyota Motor North America CEO Jim Lentz (pictured at the ceremonial groundbreaking) hasn’t commented on the rumor.
