Trademark Acquires More Land, Signs Two New Tenants

Trademark Property Co closed on its acquisition of a 3.5-acre tract contiguous to WestBend, its 278k SF mixed-use development in Fort Worth’s University District. Additionally, the development firm signed two new tenants, Ascension and Dear Hannah. Ascension is an upscale coffee bar and Dear Hannah is a retailer of women’s clothes, jewelry and gifts.

The newly acquired plot is on University Drive, south of WestBend, along the Trinity River–an emerging neighborhood notable for several exciting upcoming projects. Trademark Property Group is hoping to enhance the community with public art programs, bike racks, upgraded landscaping, free parking and outdoor seating along the Trinity River and Trinity trails.

Trademark is in the process of developing concepts for additional mixed-use space featuring ground-floor retail, a signature hotel, and multifamily units on the space occupied by Hawthorn Suites.
