Craig Hall’s Hall Group has finalized plans for the second phase of its Arts District development. On Friday, Hall Group will break ground on a luxury residential high-rise and boutique hotel as the next phase of Hall Arts.

The 25-story residential high-rise and adjacent Hall Arts Hotel was designed, like Phase 1, by HKS. Emily Summers Design Associates designed the interior of Phase 2. Hall Group has put the development on a two-year timeline, with delivery in 2019.

Phase 1 of the development, KPMG Plaza at Hall Arts, opened in 2015. In May 2016, Hall Group sold the 18-story, 500K SF mixed-use office tower to Civitas Capital Group for $250M to raise capital for the build-out plans of Hall Arts.

Hall Group is also underway on a 17th building at its Frisco office park, Hall Park. In January, the new 12-story office building got $57M in construction financing with a lending syndicate led by Commerce Bank.
