Garland Solidifies Place As Top Plastic Manufacturer

Yet another plastic manufacturer will soon call Garland home.

VPET USA purchased a newly constructed 168k SF building in Garland's industrial district. The California-based company manufactures food-grade plastic bottles. Its new home is a LEED-certified building developed by Huntington Industrial Partners. An additional 135k SF is under construction nearby.

Garland has created a name for itself as a plastic giant with industrial plants for Plastipak, Lone Star Plastics, GTM Plastics, Dental Plus Lab, Magnabrite, Guardian Packaging, Heubach Corp and others.

VPET choose the new facility at 3839 Distribution Drive to better serve its major Lone Star customers. It will create 50 jobs for this expansion. The new Garland facility will run three shifts for 24 hours per day, five days per week.
