Christus Health is finalizing the purchase of a 4.2-acre site at North O'Connor Boulevard and West Las Colinas Boulevard in Las Colinas to build a new 400K SF headquarters.

The Catholic, faith-based health care system is already based in the Irving-Las Colinas submarket.

Construction on the new HQ, a 13- to 15-story building, is expected to be finalized in 2023. The site was previously owned by State Bank of Texas.

"We’re thrilled that CHRISTUS will build their international headquarters here, and are excited to build our headquarters next door to such great neighbors," State Bank of Texas President Sushil Patel said in a statement.

Fidelis Healthcare Partners' Kevin O'Neil, Mark Allyn and Guidon Project Solutions' Mark Fewin helped Christus during the site selection and pre-development planning process.

BOKA Powell is designing the building with Don Powell and Joe Hilliard leading the design team. The final development will include integrated work areas, outdoor patios and large areas for collaboration.

Christus consolidated its corporate offices in the Irving area nearly a decade ago and has since grown from 30,000 associates to 45,000. The health care system currently leases its space in Irving.
