For most gyms, the term "backfill" is when it helps you go from a size 12 to a size 8. Just Fitness 4 U prefers the real estate defintion, and it did some backfilling at four empty big boxes, with plans for 20 additional sites.
 
Not quite in their yoga gear but ready to deal at the Just Fitness 4 U in Casa Linda are The Weitzman Group brokers Perren GascMarc Marrocco, and Beau Barkerding. The trio is repping Just Fitness 4 U on its marketwide expansion. Marc tells us landlords were ecstatic to find a 20k SF user to backfill their boxes and vacated gyms. That allowed Just Fitness to secure excellent long-term lease structures. Marc says Just Fitness operates locations in key markets such asAtlanta and Salt Lake City. The four deals include a 20k SF junior anchor in Mayfair Village at 500 Grapevine Hwy in Hurst; a 21k SFjunior anchor in Casa Linda Plaza at Buckner Boulevard and Garland Road in East Dallas; a 17k SF junior anchor in Hebron Heights at Hebron Parkway and Old Denton Road; and a 24k SF freestanding building at 2524 North Galloway in Mesquite.
