Winstead Catches Healthcare Fever

Winstead principal shareholder and attorney Andy Dow (here with his awesome family) tells us that investment interest in healthcare properties is at a fever pitch, with a good part of his day talking to advice-seekers. Investment is difficult enough, says Andy, but with this sector, you have to arm yourself (with knowledge) in the new Wild West of America’s healthcare evolution. This is where Winstead comes in. Projects on the plate involve the entire continuum of care, from MOB development, to specialty hospitals and post-acute facilities. Particularly hot are assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care properties. Winstead (one of Texas’ largest commercial real estate law firms) recently completed a monetization project for a hospital system in East Texas.
