This Week's Dallas-Fort Worth Deal Sheet

Avenger Flight Group launched its second flight simulation training center construction project in North Texas.

The company leased 116K SF in Valley View at DFW Center, so it will have enough space to develop additional commercial flight simulators for training in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

2800 Valley View Lane In Irving, Texas

The Florida-based company inked a long-term lease at 2800 Valley View Lane in Irving to accommodate this expansion.

Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services' Joe Santaularia and Brock Wilson represented Avenger Flight Group. The company entered the DFW market three years ago and leased 40K SF at 4649 Diplomacy Road in Fort Worth. Eighteen months ago, the company launched another search for training and simulator space.

The company, which is seven years old, provides in-depth training to commercial airline pilots at facilities in Florida, Nevada, Texas, Mexico, Colombia and Spain.

VanTrust Real Estate promoted Josh Meredith to director for development. Meredith will be based in the company's Frisco, Texas, office. He will identify and evaluate build-to-suit opportunities in Texas and will expand his market oversight responsibilities to El Paso and Memphis.

The Apartments at Fountains Corner in Fort Worth

SALES/ACQUISITIONS 

The Apartments at Fountains Corner in Fort Worth landed in the hands of a new owner this month. The 418-unit apartment property was sold with the help of Marcus & Millichap's Al Silva, who marketed the property on behalf of Dallas-based owner WAK Management, which owned the property for more than two decades. A Texas-based private investment group acquired the apartments at 5046 Hildring Drive East in Fort Worth.

A private investor acquired 2.35 acres at 501 Rufe Snow Road in Keller from seller M/I Homes. The property sits next to a residential development and restaurants. Henry S. Miller's Lane Kommer and Andy Anderson represented the buyer and seller.

Whitebox Real Estate helped Taylor Counseling buy a building at 300 North Interstate Highway 35-E in Waxahachie.

LEASES 

Vital Pharmaceuticals leased 217K SF at Everman Trade Center in Fort Worth. Holt Lunsford Commercial's Matt Carthey and Thomas Grafton represented the landlord, while JLL's Jamie Galati and Sky Groden represented the tenant.
