NEW DEVELOPMENT

Holt Lunsford Commercial started construction on the 260k SF Turnpike West on 15 acres at Chalk Hill and I-30 in Dallas.

LEASES

M Crowd Restaurant Group leased two acres for a future Mi Cocina Restaurant within the Grandscape Shopping Center on SH 121 between Plano Parkway and Spring Creek Parkway in The Colony. John T Evans Co’s Chad DuBose and John T Evans repped the tenant.

Waste Management of Texas leased 22k SF at Corporate Crossing at Waters Ridge at 520 E Corporate Dr in Lewisville. Paladin Partners’ Brett McMillan repped the landlord, Vantage Development. HSM EVP Dan Spika repped the tenant.

SALES

Miami-based Adler Kawa Real Estate Advisors purchased the 545k SF Cardinal Park office/industrial complex in Richmond/Plano. The 30-acre park is home to Yahoo, CVS/Caremark and Inogen, among others. This marks the second Dallas-area pickup for AKREA (it bought Vista Point North in January 2014) and the seventh property purchased altogether, with a total deal value of $150M dating back to the firm’s launch in 2013. Cardinal Park was previously owned by a portfolio company of a private fund managed by Wayzata Investment Partners, which was repped in the transaction by  Stream Realty Partners' Jamie Jennings and James Mantzuranis.

Stream Realty’s Blake Kendrick teamed up with colleagues to close some 240k SF of deals including a 73k SF (along with Seth Korschak) lease at 2400 Skyline in Mesquite. Blake teamed up with Seth to rep the tenant, Display Source Alliance, at 2400 Skyline in Mesquite. IDI’s  John Leinbaugh repped the landlord, IDI.
