If you listen closely, you can still hear the celebrations going on across North Texas as the Dallas Mavs put it away last night. Jet Terry scored 27 points followed by 10-time NBA All-Star Dirk Nowitzki with 21 as the Mavericks topped the Miami Heat 105-95 in Game 6 of the NBA finals on Sunday night. We did the dance of love as we snapped the AAC watch party celebrations (on TV, alas). Dirk was presented the MVP honors from NBA legend Bill Russell. Rowdy, loud and proud. Yep, that's all of us! Congrats Mavs! Where's the nearest Academy? We need some new shirts! |
