RAFFLIN' FOR SCHOOLS

Corgan hosted its annual fundraising event for the Adopt-A-Schoolprogram last Friday benefiting the Charles Rice Elementary School in southeast Dallas. Above, Corgan's Keith Cummings assists a third grader with a goal-setting project as part of the ongoing program. The Friday event included a raffle for prizes from numerous companies including The Stoneleigh Hotel, Studio Movie Grill, Tiff?s Treats, and W Dallas-Victory Hotel, among others. Employees contributed more than $1,000 in raffle ticket purchases, which will be combined with a $500 gift from the firm. In addition to providing educational items for the school, the funds raised will be used to buy necessities like clothing for some of its at-risk students. The firm's Adopt-A-School program extends throughout the year and allows Corgan employees to mentor third- and fifth-graders for one afternoon each month.
