ICI Construction biz dev director Dan Anderson says the company's riding the waves of business sparked by the great homeowner exodus (to apartments) and the Baby Boomers? transition to seniors housing. It recently completed Orchard Park in McKinney, a 97-unit assisted living and memory care facility. It also started construction of the Chateau Mirage in Lafayette (280 units) and plans to start a mixed-use development in Mansfield in August (175 units, multifamily/retail). The Texas-based firm has been on the job for over 25 years and was recently ranked 31st by Multifamily Executive Magazine on its Top 50 Multifamily Builders list for 2010. In fact, it drives an average of $130M in construction volume per year and has placed over 10,000 units of multifamily, seniors living, and assisted-housing online since its inception.
