The Belknap Corridor (i.e. Belknap Street/US377) in Haltom Citywill undergo major changes in the coming years, according to City business development coordinator Susan White. The land of mostly mom-and-pops and unique businesses is enhanced by the 300 acresof ready-to-sell, mixed-use green space enclosed by Interstate 820. That means: new apartments, shops, offices, tourists, and ultimately more sales tax. While the HCED rounds up new land, Susan?s goal is to attract new businesses and developments to the small town that's surrounded by two highways, two railways (mass transit and freight), and located next to a major business hub (within the DFW Metroplex).
