MAKING THE CUT

The Village at Fairview, part of The MGHerring Group’s 3M SF regional mixed-use lifestyle development at US 75 and Stacy Rd in Allen, recently opened its third anchor, Dillard's. Fairview mayor Sim Israeloff, Dillard's VP William Dillard III, store manager Dana Whaley, and The MGHerring Group prez Gar Herring wielded the sizable scissors. In '09, JCPenney and Macy’s opened at The Village at Fairview, and 40 new tenants joined at The Village at Allen—a sister property located across Stacy Road. (And yet we've still never seen a left-handed  pair of giant scissors.)
