Meet your new president of Downtown Dallas Inc: Kourtny Garrett. CEO John Crawford made the announcement yesterday at the annual meeting and luncheon.

John stepped down from the president's role immediately but will remain CEO until Jan. 1, 2017, at which point Kourtny will also assume the CEO position. John will become vice chairman and continue on the executive committee. The transition plan was approved unanimously by the DDI Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
Kourtny Garrett’s career spans 15 years in the development of livable communities, including 13 with DDI alone. She forged millions of dollars worth of public-private partnerships, led many of DDI’s initiatives, and spends a significant amount of time leading the Downtown Dallas 360 plan and DDI’s education agenda.
