How Dallas Real Estate Gets Festive

We asked what everyone did for holiday fun and Cushman & Wakefield didn’t disappoint with its first annual ugly sweater dodgeball tournament. The event raised more than $3k and collected more than 200 toy donations for Toys for Tots. Sixteen teams competed in the tournament with Lee & Associates taking top honors. Here’s (back row) Gary Collett, Ryan Boozer, Brett Lewis, Calen Lassiter, Chris Terrell, Nathan Denton, Corbin Blount, Bill Brokaw; (front row) Ryan Chismark, Emily Hoffman, Shannon Johnston, Severo Fernandez, Kyle Campbell and Bill McClung.

Colliers International purchased bikes to donate to the Treasures of Hope Christmas Store, hosted by the Dallas Leadership Foundation. Colliers employees also fulfilled the wishes of 12 children through the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, the Colliers charity for 2014. Emersons Commercial Real Estate helped sponsor the Bands of Hope third annual charity gala benefiting the Promise House. (Here’s Courtney Berry, Keith Colvin, Adam Spinn, Sara Gondo, Susan McKinney, Marc McKinney, Wendy Webb and Richard Webb.) Each year, Bands of Hope selects a worthy charity and provides grant money to help sustain operations. Promise House helps provide shelter and support for homeless teens in the Dallas area, Keith tells us. Emersons also adopted a needy family to provide gifts and warm winter clothes and grocery gift cards. Additionally, the staff will be volunteering at Samaritan's Purse, assembling packages for Operation Christmas Child Dallas.
