Richardson’s Dal-Rich Town Square just went through a rough patch, but no more—Weitzman just signed a slew of new tenants, bringing the property back to 93% occupancy.

The Weitzman Group’s James McEwen and Joey Keffler (pictured surrounding Nhat Ngo, owner and operator of Wing Bucket) are breathing new life into the shopping center with a curated mixture of specialty tenants. After Whole Foods departed in 2013, occupancy dropped to 70%, an all-time low. Thanks to five new specialty concepts and restaurants occupying 33k SF, Dal-Rich is now at 93% occupancy and experiencing new-found popularity.

At the heart of Dal-Rich's revitalization is Richardson Mercantile, a high-profile, high-traffic anchor taking over the Whole Foods space and helping attract strong new co-tenancy, Joey tells us. It's allowed Dal-Rich to attract young families seeking something different and promises to keep the shopping center viable for the long term.
