We spent an hour Tweeting yesterday with CBRE chatting about Texas commercial real estate. Of course, with less than 30 characters, there is only so much you can learn, but here are a few of the Twitter feed highlights about Dallas:
*In the Platinum Corridor, demand is still outpacing supply. Overbuilding is not likely right now.
* DFW's office-using jobs led job growth with 6.4% growth in professional/business services and 4.3% growth in financial activities.
*Office-using employment remains in the 4% per year range in Texas, so office space demand should remain strong into 2014.
*Finally, the recent acceleration in these sectors indicates that 2014 should be a strong year for office market fundamentals in DFW
