| The Village at Fairview is opening 100k SF of new retail between now and Christmas, including Whole Foods on Nov. 1. That should make Salvation Army bell ringers very happy. |
| Whole Foods opened a 41k SF store along the frontage road of US 75. By the end of 2010, the 400-acre Village at Fairview will have more than 120 stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Upon completion, the project will include 2M SF of retail and 1M SF of office, residential, and hotel space. MGHerring Group prez and shopping center developer Gar Herring tells us they've welcomed more than 40 new tenants to The Village at Fairview this year, including last month—the Florida-based seafood restaurant Guy Harvey's Island Grill. Opening sometime in the next six weeks: 20k SF A Real Bookstore; Finish Line; Twisted Root Burger Co; Vertigo; The Elegant Door; Daired's Salon & Spa Pangea; La Duni Latin Kitchen & Coffee Studio; and the 25k SF Splitsville. |
