CBRE Moving Suburban HQ To Oak Brook

Big changes are afoot for CBRE's suburban offices. The firm signed a long-term lease expansion at Oak Brook Pointe, where it will consolidate its employees in Oak Brook, Schaumburg and Bannockburn under one roof.

CBRE, which already leases 20k SF at Oak Brook Pointe, is expanding to 45k SF. The move is part of the firm's Workplace360 strategy aimed at fostering collaboration, improving productivity, and recruiting and retaining talent.

The strategy calls for a mix of smaller, enclosed offices; open workstations; collaborative areas; and larger conference rooms. CBRE has switched 34 of its offices around the world to this design. CBRE's Gary Fazzio, Jon Springer and Paul Diederich repped the firm in the lease expansion. The landlord, Principal Financial Group, was repped by CBRE's Jeff Mann.
