Developers of a Logan Square micro-apartment project already approved by the city want to increase the number of units planned for the site. Savoy Development received the green light to build 52 units at 2328 N California in March but now the group wants to build 135 micro-apartments, a 160% increase. Savoy made its latest pitch at a July 13 meeting with the Greater Goethe Neighborhood Association. The amended plan would raise the proposed height of the building from five stories to six, calls for 48 parking spaces, a pocket park and ground-level retail, reports DNAInfo.
