Uptown residents attending a community meeting last night supported a plan by Cedar Street Co to build a seven-story mixed-used development at 1050 W Wilson. The proposal would include 102 multifamily apartments and an art gallery on the site. But it would require a zoning change, according to DNAInfo. Although most of the 25 people attending last night's meeting supported the plan, residents can vote on it until midnight. Cedar Street has bought several properties in Uptown recently. [DNA]
