| We met up with SELECT Greater Philadelphia's Troy Adams in Atlanta as well—enemy territory for him after RenMatix decided to move its HQ up to King of Prussia from Atlanta last month (bringing 150 jobs to the regoin). That's just one of the successes SELECT and other Philly-based economic developers can tout this year. In fact, SELECT is working on 60 active prospects versus 50 last year. ?We see a lot of manufacturing,? Troy says, adding that 20% of the prospects are involved in that industry. It's especially active withcompanies from Europe, which are looking to the US for stability, market penetration, and diversification. |
