Your Ideas for the Trib Site

Last week we asked readers what they’d like to see at Tribune Real Estate Holdings’ seven-acre site at 700 W Chicago on the riverfront, which it plans to redevelop with a JV partner. Keith Goode tells us a grocery store is much needed in the area, and that’s definitely in the realm of possibility given Chicago’s hot grocery scene (especially in a mixed-use project with multifamily). b2b Konnections’ Scott Solverson predicts the Trib site will soon be a new location for Bisnow. There will be a sign similar to Trump’s that will simply say “THE BIS,” he says.
