No, this isn't an article on the President's new Chicago re-elect HQ. It's actually for those who were wondering what all those crates of cans were doing hanging out in the Merchandise Mart this week. Architects and contractors were building them into structures last night for tonight's CANstruction event, raising money for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We snapped Perkins + Will's Corey Baitz,Sarah Wood, and Michelle Malecha getting ready to build "something" out of their cans (they wouldn't tell us what, but we're guessing by the shirts, maybe an elephant).
